Intelligence should belong to everyone.
At VirtualGiant, we believe the centralization of intelligence is not in humanity's best interest. Intelligence should be decentralized and distributed among the people, not guarded by big Ai companies, governments and corporations.
Intelligence is becoming the most important tool people have. Whoever owns it decides who gets to use it, what it costs, and what it will and won't do. Today, a handful of institutions own almost all of it.
We think there is a better arrangement: intelligence that runs on machines owned by many people, in homes and small businesses everywhere. A network like that has no single switch to turn off, no single gate to close, and no single owner to answer to.
That is what VirtualGiant is building. A giant, made of many.
What we believe

It should run on hardware that belongs to the people who use it, not only in a few companies' data centers.

It should be available to everyone, at every hour.
Access shouldn't depend on where you live, who you work for, or whether a provider decides you are worth serving.

It should be owned by many and gated by none.
No single company, government or corporation should decide alone who may use intelligence. Our network is open to everyone, within rules that keep people safe.

What you lend, you can borrow.
Every GPU in the network belongs to someone. The work your idle machine does for others earns you the right to borrow theirs, measured fairly and recorded openly.

Everyone should be able to check the books.
Every credit earned and spent is itemized and signed. Rates and rules are published, and changes are announced before they take effect.

Honesty beats hype.
We say exactly what our privacy protections do and what they don't. We would rather promise less and prove it.
What "free" means to us
Free means no gatekeeper: no single institution decides who may think with Ai. It also means something simpler. If you own the hardware, using it costs you nothing. No subscription, no meter, no limits.
When a job is bigger than your machines, you borrow the giant: other members' idle GPUs. You pay for that with credits your own machine earned while it was idle, never with money. Everyone lends, everyone borrows, and the ledger is open to all.
Every machine that joins makes the network stronger for everyone in it.
